At some point, almost everyone has said it: “I should read that.”
The classic sitting untouched on the shelf. The epic novel everyone references. The history book you meant to start three years ago. The work that might challenge you, change you, or expand the way you see the world — if only you could finally make the time.
That’s why I Should Read That exists.
We are a weekly book club for curious readers who want to engage deeply with literature, history, philosophy, memoir, science, and social thought — together, at a manageable pace.
We believe ambitious reading becomes possible when it becomes communal.
Instead of overwhelming reading assignments or rushed discussions, we intentionally move slowly: typically 70–100 pages each week. Our goal is not speed. Our goal is weekly conversation, reflection, understanding, and connection.
If you've said you were gonna to start reading the classics someday. Join us in making that "someday" every Friday!
